Soccer fans from across the Wyomissing area gathered last week for an exciting evening of community, competition, and national pride as they cheered on the United States Men’s National Team during its opening FIFA World Cup match against Paraguay.
Hosted by the Wyomissing Area Soccer Club, the World Cup Watch Party brought together local families, players, coaches, and fans for a memorable night celebrating the world’s biggest sporting event.
The festivities began before kickoff, with attendees enjoying food from the concession stand, Kona Ice, games, and activities throughout the evening. Fans arrived dressed in red, white, and blue as excitement built ahead of the 9:00 PM match shown on the big screen.
