FastBridge Fiber offers fiber internet service to homes and businesses in our service area through our 100% fiber-optic network. To see if you’re in our service area, check service availability here. We keep home internet service simple with no contracts, no hidden fees, free professional installation, and live local customer service.

We don’t offer TV, streaming service, phone, or security services – we leave that up to the experts in each area such as streaming services, VoIP (voice over internet) companies, and home alarm service providers.

Construction
Construction timeframes vary depending on your neighborhood terrain, area geography, weather and other construction processes. We always try to complete construction as quickly as possible. If you’d like to be updated on our service availability in your area, please register here. Service
Our professional technicians will install a 5″x5″ Optical Network Terminal (ONT). This device converts the light signals in fiber optics to electrical signals. Next, we’ll install and set up a router, which plugs into the ONT and runs your wired and Wi-Fi networks. Last, we’ll show you how to access the CommandIQ app to manage your network from your smartphone.
Yes. We include a Gigaspire BLAST Wi-Fi 6 router with each plan at no additional charge. 2 Gig plans come with an enhanced Gigaspire BLAST router. All of the Gigaspire routers are cutting-edge and provide excellent coverage.
The internet service plan you sign up for is the main factor in determining the specific Gigaspire BLAST router our technicians place in your home. For the 500 Mbps and 1 Gig plans, we include a Gigaspire BLAST U4 device with 2 ethernet ports. For the 2 Gig plan, we have a Gigaspire BLAST U6.2 device with 4 ethernet ports. If you think you need more ports than that, we suggest you purchase an ethernet switch with enough ports for your devices and have that available when the technician arrives.
The short answer is “yes.” But we’re not sure why you’d want to. We include an advanced Gigaspire Wi-Fi 6 router device with all of our plans at no additional cost, and our CommandIQ app allows you full access to control your Wi-Fi network from your smartphone. If you choose not to use the Gigaspire router, the CommandIQ app will not work. Additionally, using a different router will limit the support we can provide you.
Your extender may or may not work with our router. Even if your extender does work with our router, the FastBridge Fiber CommandIQ app will not support that extender. Using your extender may impact the management of the Gigaspire BLAST router as well as your entire Wi-Fi network, and we may be limited in the support we can offer. The Gigaspire BLAST routers are very powerful, and you may not need an extender.
