FastBridge Fiber, a rapidly expanding provider of 100% fiber-optic internet, donated branded materials from recently acquired Niacom to Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo, New York. This initiative supports both the company’s environmental goals and its ongoing community engagement in the Buffalo region.

Following the acquisition of local fiber internet company Niacom, FastBridge Fiber was left with various unused promotional items at its Buffalo office, including a significant number of branded foam footballs. Rather than discard these materials, the company opted to donate them to a local organization that could benefit.

Fiber internet is widely considered the most sustainable home internet solution, using less energy and producing less electronic waste than traditional cable or DSL services. FastBridge Fiber continues to integrate environmentally conscious practices throughout its operations, including responsibly managing marketing and promotional materials during times of growth.

The foam footballs were delivered to Oishei Children’s Hospital, where they’ll be distributed to patients. The hospital, a cornerstone of pediatric care in Buffalo, NY, welcomed the donation as a positive gesture from a business investing in the local community.

This donation is part of FastBridge Fiber’s broader commitment to corporate responsibility as it expands fiber internet service in Western New York and other regions. In addition to providing high-speed fiber internet to homes and businesses, the company prioritizes environmental sustainability and positive community impact.
